  Final farewell ?

There can never be a "final farewell" to the Navy nurses or corpsmen who served so courageously in Korea. Compassionate love and respect toward their fellow man, you could see it in their smiles and feel it in their hugs. These brave souls are no longer nameless. We now know them.  And we can't forget !

And so it will be with this web site...

We will try to keep you updated as to future events involving these special people and the  publication of "Quiet Heroes."   If you know of a Navy nurse/corpsmen that served in the Korean War but whose service is not widely known then please e-mail us the particulars to cflp@att.net  and we will make every effort to post it to these pages. We would like to honor them too. Please click here to learn of them.

Digi-vents would like, at this time, to thank Commander Frances Omori and all the wonderful Navy Nurses, Corpsmen, and Marines for inviting us to be part of their very special day.

There is now a short cyber tour of the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC for those of you who have never seen it. Please click here to visit it.

Thank you again for joining in the celebration of a very  historical event.
